Time Reflection

The installation is based in the representation of a story tale that reflects about the time, past present and future. The story is written behind a mirror as the first encounter with the viewer, on the other side there is the representation of the three times, the present is the mirror which act as witness of current time, the future is represented by a clock which is part of the mirror, ticking each second in search of the future, the past is a silkscreen printing on the mirror which is the incomplete reflection of the objects in front of them, as a foggy memory from the past. The chair the mug and the table in front of the mirror are the actual objects of the story tale while the actor is the viewer which is reflected on the mirror. I intend to create a mental and physical reflection of time through this story where the protagonist is the viewer.

La instalación está basada en la representación de un cuento que reflexiona acerca del tiempo, pasado presente y futuro. El cuento está escrito de tras de un espejo siendo el primer encuentro con el espectador, del otro lado está la representación de los tres tiempos el presente es el espejo que actúa como testigo del tiempo en curso, el futuro está representado por un reloj que está en el espejo que va contando los segundos en espera del futuro, el pasado es una serigrafía sobre el espejo que es la incompleta reflexión de los objetos que están enfrente de él, como una memoria borrosa del pasado. La silla la taza y la mesa en frente del espejo son los objetos de la historia mientras que el protagonista de esta es el observador reflejado en el espejo. Pretendo crear una reflexión mental y física acerca del tiempo a través de esta historia donde le protagonista es el espectador.
