Limina

The artwork consists in four photographs with a video projection which captures the interaction of several mirrors inside a pond within a natural landscape. On the top of the rounded mirrors it is a silkscreen printed image with maps and clouds, there are two identical layers but in different colour, one at the top of another, where the red prints remind maps and the silver ones clouds. They are the representation of limina which refer to those spaces between the conscious, the maps and the subconscious, the clouds. We wanted to bring this state of limina into a natural and reflective space, where the interaction may bring something to light.

La obra consiste en cuatro fotografías y una video proyección que captura la interacción de espejos dentro de un lago en un paisaje natural. Sobre los espejos redondos hay una serigrafía con mapas y nubes, en dos capas, una sobre la otra, idénticas pero en diferente color, la impresión roja hace alusión a mapas y la plateada a nubes. La impresión es la representación de Limina, que se refiere a esos espacios entre el consiente, los mapas y el subconsciente las nubes. Quisimos llevar este estado de limina en un espacio reflexivo y natural donde la interacción tal vez traiga algo a la luz.
