ID

Is an installation of 16 double face rounded mirrors; one side has a magnified mirror with a red-silver silkscreen printing on it, each mirror has a different drawing which is inspired in maps, red maps of blood, who we are and by silver clouds, the same drawing but in silver, which represents our dreams, this is the representation of our identity, we are both what we have done an what we dream. So each printed mirror represents one person, and on the other side of it there is a common mirror where reality is represented. The other mirror with the drawing is rather on a magnified mirror because we have an altered vision of reality, I mean we have a particular image of the world. All the mirrors are facing each other since we exist when we can be reflected in the others. ID is our identification, our dreams plus our personal map inside the reflection of the others within the space.

Es una instalación con 16 espejos redondos doble cara, un lado tiene un espejo de aumento con una serigrafía en rojo y plateado, cada espejo tiene un dibujo diferente que está inspirado en mapas, mapas rojos de sangre, quiénes somos, y por nubes plateadas conformadas por el mismo dibujo pero en plateado, que representa nuestros sueños; esto es nuestra identidad, lo que hacemos y lo que soñamos. Así que cada uno de estos espejos representa a una persona; al otro lado de estos espejos hay un espejo normal donde la realidad es reflejada tal como es. El otro espejo con el dibujo está más bien sobre un espejo en aumento ya que nosotros tenemos una visión alterada de la realidad, lo que quiero decir es que tenemos nuestro particular punto de vista sobre mundo. Todos los espejos están viéndose unos a otros desde que cada uno de nosotros existimos porque podemos ser reflejados en los demás. ID es nuestra identificación, nuestros sueños, más nuestro mapa personal en la reflexión de los demás dentro del espacio.
