Framming The Land

This exploration is divided in two specific projects; the first one is a wrapping tree with a striped tape which is used to delimited construction areas. The intention of this intervention is to make evident the frame of nature within the space. This frame give us the proportion and the spatiality of the blank space, where apparently is “nothing”. The second exploration is inside a gallery where some pictures of branches in the landscape are changing on the surrounded walls, people is encourage to walk through the gallery space which is occupied by a net tape, the same one that I used to wrap the tree, creating a three dimensional framing space to walk through, in order to experiment “the blank spaces”.

La exploración de este tema está dividida en dos proyectos específicos el primero es un árbol envuelto en una cinta rayada que se usa para delimitar espacios en construcción. La intención de esta intervención es hacer evidente el marco que hace la naturaleza en el espacio. Este marco nos da la proporción y espacialidad de los espacios en blanco, donde aparentemente no hay “nada”. La segunda exploración es dentro de una galería donde algunas imágenes de ramas son proyectadas sobre los muros, las personas son invitadas a cruzar el espacio que esta intervenido por una red de cinta, la misma cinta ocupada en el árbol, creando un marco en tridimensional por el cual hay que atravesar, experimentando estos “espacios en blanco”.
