Fossil Flowers

The piece is a glass fossil of flowers, which is made by some ground flowers and what I call water flowers, corals. Together act as a memory of what it is a flower in Earth, no matter where, ground or water. I wanted to represent a fossil with the characteristic of the real one; therefore glass was the perfect media to create something fragile but a solid.

La obra es un fósil de flores, que está hecho por flores de tierra y por lo que llamo flores de agua, corales. Juntas actúan como una memoria de lo que es una flor en la Tierra, no importando dónde en al agua o en el suelo. Quise representar un fósil con las mismas características que uno real, por lo tanto el vidrio fue un excelente medio para crear algo frágil pero sólido.
