Cells

Any kind of life is given by cells; they represent the basic form of life, so I wanted to represent them by a group of rounded ceramic shapes which have glass inside them. The ceramic, porcelain, represent the materiality of the being, while glass reminds us the ongoing life inside us. Around these pieces are some spheres of obsidian and some of porcelain, which connect one piece with another, they are white and black, the basic but opposite colours that represents the diversity in the being.

Cualquier tipo de vida está dada por células, ellas representan la forma básica de vida, así que las quise representar por un grupo de formas redondas en cerámica con vidrio en el centro. La cerámica, porcelana, representa la materialidad del ser, mientras que el vidrio nos recuerda la vida que hay dentro de nosotros. Alrededor de esta pieza hay algunas esferas de obsidiana y de porcelana, que conectan una pieza con otra, son blancas y negras los colores básicos pero opuestos que representan la diversidad en el ser.
