Nature In The City

The cities are in continuous transformation, human artifacts appear in the landscape to create new scenery. Nature in the city shows how the nature and the human artifacts, an electrical pole and a mountain, are part of a mixed landscape, the silkscreen image is rotated in 360 degrees to get an stronger impact, the use of two colours are in relation with the two elements, the mountain and the electrical pole, which are juxtaposed as they are in the landscape. The gap in the middle introduces the viewer as the central element of the image in order to reflect about it.

Las ciudades están en continua transformación, objetos hechos por el hombre aparecen en el paisaje para crear una nueva escena. Nature in the city muestra como la naturaleza y objetos hechos por el hombre, son parte de un paisaje mixto, la serigrafía en el espejo está rotada 360 grados para generar un mayor impacto, el uso de dos colores es en relación a los dos elementos, la montaña y el poste eléctrico, que están yuxtapuestos tal y como lo están en el paisaje. El espacio en medio introduce al espectador como el elemento central de la imagen para reflexionar acerca de la ella.
